National Square Dance Convention Trusteeship

The 33rd National Square Dance Convention, held in Baltimore in June of 1984, was attended by 25,000 dancers from across the nation and abroad. Vigorous promotion efforts by the regional and local dancers resulted in a very successful convention with surplus revenue.

The 33rd NSDC Trusteeship was chartered to manage and distribute these funds for the purpose of education, preservation, promotion, and betterment of the square dance movement, to include modern western square dancing, round dancing, contra dancing, and New England traditional dancing.
